It has been a great 6+ years working for Petroglyph Games. Today is my last day here. It was a great experience working on so many great titles like Universe at War, Mytheon and then End of Nations. Unfortunately this chapter is ending and a new one will begin tomorrow! Wish me luck!
I received a great surprise today from a fan, Nick Trotta. He made a Lego version of one of my EON concept ship, Tempest! Check out his awesome work at his Flickr gallery! This reminds me of a while back when Brick Commander made some of my Mechwarrior concept into Lego as well, it was very inspiring how detail these are. For the last 5 years, I poured my heart and energy into the game, End of Nations. There are so much work done during the time as you can imagine. When I browse through all the works, they always bring me to tears because of how far it has come and how much work, energy, blood and sweat it costs. Not to mention the great talents that I have the privilege to meet and work with throughout this epic journey. I managed to pick some of my favorite concept art, UI design and marketing that I did so far. Check out the galleries to view them. I hope the game will come out soon and do well with the RTS fans. Thanks!!! I attended the Prometheus event at Gnomon Workshop last Friday. It was such a great night listening to Neville Page, David levy and Scott Mansing talk about their joy, pain and satisfaction of working on this signature scifi film. Here are two of my new ON unit concept art that were released on End of Nations facebook page lately. Plenty more to come. After working on this game for almost 4 years, yes, 4, I am so happy and excited to see End of Nations is finally approaching release. Closed beta will begin on Friday and the game is scheduled to go live very soon afterwards. This is the longest project I've ever worked on in my entire life. I was privileged to be involved in it since the game was pitched. Making MMO is really challenging and requires a huge stamina to go with it. It's like running a marathon with no end in sight and when you see the ending, it is constantly changing. The game is getting more fun each day and looking great! I hope to see it become a successful RTS game. The game is almost ready for printing! Follow the updates by visiting the Kickstarter page http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1614576398/solar-circuit-racing/posts I didn't make it to E3 this year, but here are some photos from the End of Nations booth. It's going pretty well and looks like we got nominated for a few awards too! Check out the life size Guardian mech on display and two lovely ladies pretending to be some of the game heroes :) Wow, 2 posts in one day?! I have also been working hard on End of Nations. The game is going live this summer, so the marketing is going full steam. I am pretty happy to see the new site which is so much better than before. There are a ton of new art being shown and lots of info about the game. Here are a glimpse of some of the characters that I designed but illustrated by the bad ass Eric Deschamps. You also have a glimpse of the faction armory that I designed where you will customize each unit and purchase cool new weapons and upgrades. Go to the wallpaper section to see more! This project is going well and my illustrations are almost finish. Here are some more new images being shown recently and the box mockup: |
